Goldie’s All Time Record: 107-45 Vs. Spread: 76-74

Goldie’s Week 16 Record : 11-5 Vs. Spread: 5-9

Goldie’s Guarantee: 8-3

Goldie’s Upset: 8-3

Crazy Uncle Jeff: 9-0

Goldie’s Guarantee: PHI +3

Washington Football Team (6-9) @ Philadelphia Eagles (4-10-1)

Vegas Picks: WAS -3

Goldie’s Take: Eagles Win 28-26

Could you have dreamed of a better way to put the 2020 regular season to bed? Sunday Night Football. The whole league watches to see who gets crowned the king of the worst division in football. It’s embarrassing that a team with a below .500 record is going to get a home game in the playoffs this season, and it’s not going to be in Washington. Washington is 10-5 with Alex Smith at QB, and they are 6-26 without him. He’s questionable for this game as he’s been battling a calf injury for weeks. Also Philadelphia head coach Doug Pederson is on the hot seat and he’ll be coaching for his job this Sunday. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles get a win at home to end the season and do the winner of the Giants/Cowboys game a HUGE favor. I feel it’s only right for a division this bad, for Washington to go out and lose the division, rather than go out and win the division in the regular season’s final hour. This is the "NFC LEast" we’re talking about.

Goldie’s Upset of the Week

Green Bay Packers (12-3) @ Chicago Bears (8-7)

Vegas Picks: GB -4.5

Goldie’s Take: Bears Win 33-30

Both teams enter this game on a hot streak. Packers have won five in a row, while the Bears have won four in a row. There is more on the line in this game for Chicago, with a win, they’re in, but a loss could end their season. That being said, there is some seeding on the line for the Pack as well, so Rodgers and Co. will be playing. The Bears offense has been great of late, largely due to their rushing attack. David Montgomerey has run for 90+ yards in four of the Bears last five games. If the Bears can get out to an early lead, I could definitely see them stealing this one at home. Give me Mitch Trubisky and DA BEARS in my week 17 UPSET!

Crazy Uncle Jeff’s Lock of the Week: NE -3

New York Jets (2-13) @ New England Patriots (6-9)

Vegas Picks: NE -3

Goldie’s Take: Patriots Win 23-17

Although this hasn’t been the ideal season for the Patriots, Bill Belichick is still Bill Belichick. He’s going to devise a game plan to end their season with some dignity and beat up on their division rival New York Jets. Lots of questions loom for New England this offseason, most importantly being what they choose to do with quarterback Cam Newton. On the opposing sideline, Adam Gase will most likely be coaching his final NFL game this Sunday as the Jets should fall to the Pats in Foxboro.

Side Note: Crazy Uncle Jeff looks to enter the postseason at a PERFECT 10-0!!

Minnesota Vikings (6-9) @ Detroit Lions (5-10)

Vegas Picks: MIN -7

Goldie’s Take: Vikings Win 35-24

Poor Matt Stafford has been wasting his career away in Detroit. The Lions management have always struggled to put a team around him and this year has been no different. The Lions rank last in the NFL in passing defense and in points allowed per game. Kirk Cousins should have a big day as the Vikings roll the Lions in Detroit.

Atlanta Falcons (4-11) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-5)

Vegas Picks: TB -7

Goldie’s Take: Buccaneers Win 29-23

The Falcons defense has been inconsistent all season. They rank in the bottom five of the league, but they did do a solid job containing the high powered attack of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs last week. I envision Matty ice and the Falcons to keep it close, but in the end fall short to Brady and the Bucs. The Bucs steamrolled the Lions last week, and will look to carry that momentum into this one.

Miami Dolphins (10-5) @ Buffalo Bills (12-3)

Vegas Picks: BUF -3

Goldie’s Take: Dolphins Win 28-23

It still has yet to be announced whether or not Buffalo will be resting their starters this Sunday against the Dolphins. The Bills have the division locked up, and have already clinched a home playoff game. One would think they’re probably not going to risk getting their star players hurt this weekend. On the other hand, this is a huge game for the Fins. Classic win and you’re in scenario for Miami, although they could still get in with a loss and some help. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick tested positive for COVID 19 earlier this week, so he’ll be missing Sunday’s game. The rookie gets his toughest test yet this weekend, with everything on the line. Also no grandpa Fitz back there to save him this time. I think Tua shines under the pressure and takes the Fins back to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Pittsburgh Steelers (12-3) @ Cleveland Browns (10-5)

Vegas Picks: CLE -9

Goldie’s Take: Browns Win 24-14

Baker Mayfield will get all of his weapons back this weekend after missing four receivers in last week's loss to the Jets. Also the Browns absolutely need this win in order to make the playoffs. The Steelers have already clinched the division, and are resting their starters. Mason Rudolph will start at QB for Pittsburgh. And the game is in Cleveland. All signs point towards a Browns win this Sunday in the Dawg pound.

Dallas Cowboys (6-9) @ New York Giants (5-10)

Vegas Picks: DAL -1

Goldie’s Take: Cowboys Win 26-21

With a Washington loss, the winner of this game would clinch the shameful NFC East title and make the playoffs with a sub .500 record. Nonetheless, this should be a very entertaining football game. Daniel Jones is back at the helm for the Giants, so their offense should be boosted by this a little. However, this doesn’t change the fact that the Cowboys have kind of found their stride as of late. They’ve won three in a row, and this offense is humming. Give me the veteran QB/head coach combo to prevail with Andy Dalton and Mike McCarthy. How ‘Bout them Cowboys!

Baltimore Ravens (10-5) @ Cincinnati Bengals (4-10-1)

Vegas Picks: BAL -13

Goldie’s Take: Ravens Win 30-14

Ravens need a win to get in this Sunday. With their backs against the wall like this, there’s no way Lamar Jackson and the Ravens let this Cincy team play spoiler. The Bengals have shown some flashes of improvement this season, but this Sunday should be all Ravens. The Ravens have won their last four games before this one, and Lamar Jackson is willing this team into the postseason. I’m expecting Baltimore to win this one in a rout.

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-14) @ Indianapolis Colts (10-5)

Vegas Picks: IND -14

Goldie’s Take: Colts Win 27-20

People forget that the Jags beat the Colts way back in week one of this season. This was before losing 14 games straight, and tanking for the first pick. The Jags tank is complete. These guys are going to go out and play hard for their jobs next season. They have nothing to lose at this point. I think the Colts get the win because they have playoff implications on the line, but don’t count out the Jags ability to keep things close in this divisional matchup.

Tennessee Titans (10-5) @ Houston Texans (4-11)

Vegas Picks: TEN -7.5

Goldie’s Take: Titans Win 31-21

The Texans look like a team that has given up. They are playing with no fire, and it's evident that they have moved on to next season already. The Titans still have playoff seeding on the line. I fully expect Derrick Henry to go in and have a field day against the Texans 31st ranked run defense. Titans get a win and an AFC South title in Houston this Sunday.

Arizona Cardinals (8-7) @ Los Angeles Rams (9-6)

Vegas Picks: ARI -3

Goldie’s Take: Cardinals Win 24-20

This would’ve been the game of the week if quarterback Jared Goff was healthy for the Rams. Instead, backup QB John Wolford will start in his place. This game has big playoff implications on the line for both teams. For the Cardinals, it's simple, win and you’re in. The Rams could get in with a loss and some help, but it seems unlikely. I think this game will be a defensive battle, but I can’t trust the Rams without Goff. Even with a banged up Kyler Murray, the Cards clinch a playoff spot with a win in LA.

New Orleans Saints (11-4) @ Carolina Panthers (5-10)

Vegas Picks: NO -5.5

Goldie’s Take: Panthers Win 24-21

Teddy Bridgewater looked good in his return to New Orleans earlier this year. Although the Panthers didn’t get the win, it was still a very competitive game that the Panthers lost in a nailbiter. This week, the Saints will be without all of their running backs due to the coronavirus. The running backs play a huge role in the Saints offense. Even offensive mastermind Sean Payton will have a hard time creating a game plan with no RBs. The Panthers steal one against the Saints in their season finale at home.

Los Angeles Chargers (6-9) @ Kansas City Chiefs (14-1)

Vegas Picks: LAC -3.5

Goldie’s Take: Chargers Win 30-24

The Chargers will be playing a team called the Chiefs this Sunday, but it won’t really look like the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes and many other Chiefs starters will be sitting this game. The Chiefs have the number 1 seed locked up, so there is no reason for them to risk their starters getting hurt in a meaningless game. I expect Herbert and the Chargers to get a nice W against the Chiefs B team in week 17.

Seattle Seahawks (11-4) @ San Francisco 49ers (6-9)

Vegas Picks: SEA -6.5

Goldie’s Take: Seahawks Win 27-20

The Niners were injury riddled all season, which led to a very uneventful season for them. Especially disappointing considering this team led in the 4th quarter of last year's Super Bowl. Speaking of Super Bowl’s, Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are serious contenders this year, and that'll show in this Sunday’s matchup. The Seahawks get a road divisional win to end their regular season.

Las Vegas Raiders (7-8) @ Denver Broncos (5-10)

Vegas Picks: LV -2.5

Goldie’s Take: Broncos Win 26-24

I just don’t know how the Raiders can come back from last week's devastating loss to Fitzmagic and the Fins. They went from playoff hopefuls, to dead in the water in a matter of about 17 seconds of game time. There’s no salvaging this season. The Raiders blew it. Meanwhile, the Broncos are not quite there yet with this team. They showed some flashes of greatness this season, but weren’t able to put it all together. Many questions loom for them as the offseason quickly approaches. I believe Drew Lock will go into this one and play well to show Elway that he is the guy for this Broncos team.
